Melbourne Sales + Showroom Coordinator

About the Role

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and highly motivated Sales Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne.

Working across the residential and commercial segments, your role will be to provide high level customer service to clients visiting our showroom and to all phone enquiries. You will work closely with our sales team, executing sales administration to support business growth and objectives. As an expert brand ambassador, you will manage the requirements of our showroom.

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Demonstrated experience in a high level of customer service from working in an office or interiors showroom

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Data Entry – speed and accuracy

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to set priorities and re-focus as tasks are added with competing deadlines

  • High ability in handling challenges and conflicts

  • Displays enthusiasm for learning new skills

  • Displays attention to detail

  • Displays integrity and professionalism

  • Displays commitment to continuous improvement

  • Is self-motivated


Sales Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships to augment and complement the efforts of the sales team with a view to amplifying business opportunities

  • Work closely within your segment team to support growth and optimise business opportunities

  • Answering phones in a professional & timely manner

  • Quotations – deliver accurate quotations in a timely manner, communicating project and product-specific requirements

  • Order entry – accurate entry of all new orders, timely confirmations and tracking delivered in line with agreed deadlines

  • Project management – high understanding of internal and external stakeholders keeping them updated of any program changes

  • Sample entry

  • Trade application process – facilitate a prompt and thorough review of all trade applications, complete account set up for new accounts

  • Support the cooperative effort within the sales and administration teams, demonstrate good communication and follow-up skills


Showroom and Brand Responsibilities

  • Represent the brand of Kvadrat Maharam in an educated and engaged manner in all interactions

  • General knowledge of all product groups and brands

  • Greet and service all showroom visitors in a hospitable, warm, and professional manner

  • Ensure showroom presentation is maintained in line with brand expectations both front and back of house

  • Participate in new product collection training sessions and complete and utilise independent learning modules

  • Ensure all showroom sampling is current and in excellent condition

  • Administration responsibilities including food & stationery orders and monitoring cleaning of the showroom
