Brisbane Sales Representative – Residential and Commercial

About the Role

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and highly motivated Sales Specialist to join our team in Brisbane. Working across the residential and commercial segments, your primary role will be to help grow brand awareness and sales of one of the largest premium ranges of textiles, wallcoverings, and accessories available worldwide. As an expert brand ambassador, you will be able to sell across the entire Kvadrat Maharam collection while strategically growing the business through existing and new Ambassador level residential specifiers and retail partners.

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Demonstrated sales experience representing a premium brand 

  • Best practice knowledge in sales performance 

  • Excellent presentation skills 

  • Ability to work independently but with the understanding that we act as one team 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Accountabilities

Sales Focus

  • Work with the strategic plan to grow brand awareness and sales, focusing on key clients and customers 

  • Implement cross-selling strategies to maximise exposure of all product categories 

  • Continually broaden market knowledge 

  • Realise a minimum of 350 client visits annually 

  • Enjoy working with a client base of Ambassador residential specifiers, retail partners and smaller Commercial firms 

  • Achieve agreed KPI’s 

  • Meet sales budgets in all product categories and market segments 

  • Participate in local and international sales meetings as required 

  • Possess strong networking abilities to make quality relationships with the right ambassadors, customers and clients 


Product & Brand

  • Be the face of the Kvadrat Maharam brand 

  • Represent all product groups and brands 

  • Autonomous self-education on new product 

  • Develop and execute local showroom-based events and collection launches 

  • Continually hone presentation skills and improve product knowledge 

  • Maintain sampling in excellent, current condition


Showroom

  • Greet and service all showroom visitors in a hospitable, warm and professional manner 

  • Ensure showroom presentation is maintained in line with brand expectations both front and back of house

Systems Use

  • Mandatory use of CE system and Power BI tools to track your business, maintain CRM, projects and client visits
