Textile Composition Tool

Our conscious design principles build on a continued commitment to longevity and define our sustainable design direction. We consider whether the biodegradability of our collections at their end of use is the best outcome or whether re-using, upcycling or recycling a product is a better way to respect the earth’s resources.

Over 100 textiles in the Kvadrat Maharam collection are made using recycled or regenerative content. This content varies across collections and consists of wool, cotton, and post-industrial and post-consumer recycled polyester. We also offer collections that are created using single-source, unblended content, which allows for easier recyclability, as well as textiles manufactured using new technology to offer safer outcomes and use fewer resources in the production process.
